# Terms of Service

## 1. What the Service is

PoolMaster offers two kinds of functionality:

**(a) Analytics and information.** We aggregate publicly available data about liquidity pools across supported decentralised exchanges and blockchains, group it by trading pair, estimate returns using our own simulation and backtesting methods, and let you track wallet positions across multiple addresses.

**(b) A non-custodial transaction interface.** The Service lets you build and submit transactions — including opening, adding to, withdrawing from, closing, and otherwise managing liquidity positions, and claiming fees — against third-party protocols, using your own wallet.

**You initiate and authorise every transaction.** The interface prepares transaction data; **you** sign and broadcast it from your own wallet. Transactions execute on a public blockchain and are irreversible. Some transactions route through a smart contract we deploy (see Section 6); the underlying liquidity protocols are always third-party contracts that we do not own or control.

## 2. What the Service is not

PoolMaster is **not**:

- a **custodian** — we never hold, control, or have access to your assets, private keys, or seed phrase, and we cannot move your funds;
- a **broker, dealer, exchange, or market maker** — we do not match orders, take the other side of any trade, or operate a trading venue;
- an **investment adviser, financial adviser, tax adviser, or fiduciary** — we owe you no fiduciary duty;
- **regulated** as a financial institution. We are a software provider.

We do provide the PoolMaster Contract described in Section 6. Providing that software does not make us your agent, adviser, or custodian, and does not create any fiduciary relationship between us.

## 3. No financial advice

Everything on the Service — APRs, backtests, simulations, rankings, "best pools" lists, charts, PnL figures, suggested ranges, and blog content — is **informational and educational only**. It is not investment advice, not a recommendation to enter or exit any position, and not a solicitation.

The order in which pools appear, and any highlighting of pools, reflects our data and filters — not an endorsement or a suggestion that you should invest in them. You alone decide what to do, and you are solely responsible for those decisions. Consider taking independent professional advice.

## 4. Assumption of risk

You acknowledge and accept that you have the technical knowledge and experience to evaluate the risks of what you are doing, and specifically that:

- **Transactions are irreversible.** Once a transaction is broadcast to a blockchain, we cannot cancel, reverse, or modify it. No refunds are possible for on-chain activity.
- **We do not control any blockchain.** We cannot guarantee that a transaction you submit will be confirmed, will confirm in any particular time, or will confirm at the price or terms displayed. Transactions may fail, revert, or be delayed, and you may still pay gas.
- **Slippage and MEV.** The price you get may differ from the price shown. Transactions may be front-run, sandwiched, or otherwise affected by other network participants. You are responsible for your own slippage settings; setting them too high may result in significant loss.
- **Gas fees.** You pay all network fees. These are not paid to us, and we cannot refund them, including on failed transactions.
- **Providing liquidity is risky.** Impermanent loss, out-of-range positions, total loss of capital, smart contract exploits, rug pulls, oracle failures, malicious or worthless tokens, and depegging events are all real possibilities.
- **Past and simulated performance means nothing.** Our backtesting simulates smart contract behaviour to produce more realistic APRs than a simple `(fees / TVL) × 365` formula, but it remains a **model built on historical and third-party data**. Actual results will differ and may be negative.
- **Displayed data may be wrong.** APRs, TVL, volume, unclaimed fees, balances, and position ranges are estimates and may be stale, incomplete, or incorrect.
- **The regulatory environment is unsettled.** Laws affecting DeFi are changing and may force us to change, restrict, or discontinue the Service without notice.
- **Blockchain protocols can change.** Forks, upgrades, and consensus changes may materially affect your assets or make the Service unusable.
- **Taxes are yours.** You alone are responsible for determining and paying any taxes arising from your activity. We do not report on your behalf and our figures are not tax documents.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you irrevocably waive and release any claim against us relating to the risks described in this Section.

## 5. Wallets and transactions

- You must already have your own wallet. You cannot create one through the Service.
- **We will never ask for your private key or seed phrase.** Anyone who does is trying to scam you. Never enter them anywhere on or via the Service.
- You are solely responsible for the security of your wallet, your devices, and your credentials. We are not responsible if someone else gains access to your device or wallet and authorises transactions.
- **Read every transaction before you sign it.** Your wallet — not us — is the final confirmation step. You are responsible for verifying the contents, the recipient contract, and any token approvals.
- **Token approvals.** Interacting with protocols may require granting approvals to smart contracts. You are responsible for reviewing and, if you wish, revoking them. We do not monitor or manage your approvals.
- Wallet addresses added to the portfolio feature in watch-only mode are used solely to display public on-chain data.
- By connecting a wallet, you authorise us to read the public on-chain data associated with it in order to provide the Service.
- You can disconnect at any time. If you do, portfolio functionality will stop working, but your assets and your ability to use them elsewhere are entirely unaffected — they live on-chain, not with us.

## 6. Our smart contract

Opening and managing positions through the Service routes through a smart contract developed and deployed by us (the "PoolMaster Contract"), deployed at [ADDRESS(ES) PER CHAIN].

**No warranty.** The PoolMaster Contract is provided **"as is", with no warranty of any kind**. Although we take reasonable care in developing it, smart contracts can contain bugs, vulnerabilities, and unintended behaviour. **To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss arising from a defect in, exploitation of, or failure or malfunction of the PoolMaster Contract.**

**Audit.** The PoolMaster Contract has been audited. The audit report is private and is not published. **An audit is a point-in-time review of a limited scope. It is not a guarantee that the contract is secure, free of defects, or fit for any purpose, and it does not cover code changed or deployed after the review date.** You should not treat the existence of an audit as assurance that your funds are safe.

**Non-custodial.** The PoolMaster Contract does not hold your assets between transactions. Any liquidity position it creates is issued to, and owned by, your own address. Assets pass through the contract only for the duration of the transaction you sign.

**Approvals.** Using the PoolMaster Contract requires you to grant token approvals to it. **You are responsible for reviewing those approvals and revoking them if you wish.** An outstanding approval permits the contract to move the approved tokens.

**Fees in the contract.** The fee described in Section 9 is charged within the PoolMaster Contract itself, on-chain, as part of the transaction you sign.

You may interact with the underlying protocols directly, without the PoolMaster Contract and without the Service, at any time.

## 7. Third-party protocols, data and links

The Service depends on third parties: DEX protocols and their smart contracts, subgraphs, RPC providers, price feeds, market data APIs, and wallet software.

We do not own, control, endorse, audit, or guarantee any third-party protocol, smart contract, token, or data source. Third-party data may be delayed, incorrect, or unavailable, and providers may change or shut down without notice. Any interaction with a third-party protocol is solely between you and that protocol, governed by its own terms and risks. **We are not responsible for anything that happens there**, including smart contract bugs, exploits, governance decisions, or losses.

Listing a pool, token, protocol, or chain on the Service is not an endorsement and does not mean we have vetted it.

Third-party names and logos are used for identification only and belong to their owners. Their presence implies no partnership or endorsement.

## 8. Eligibility and restricted persons

To use the Service you must be at least 18 and legally able to enter these Terms. You represent that you are not located in, resident in, or organised under the laws of a comprehensively sanctioned jurisdiction, and that you do not appear on any applicable sanctions list (including OFAC's SDN list). You are responsible for complying with the laws of your own jurisdiction, including any restrictions on accessing DeFi services. The Service is not offered where doing so would be unlawful.

## 9. Plans, payments and refunds

**Free plan.** Some features are available at no cost. We may change or discontinue them at any time.

**Premium.** Premium is a paid subscription billed monthly or annually at the price shown at checkout. By subscribing you authorise recurring charges until you cancel. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period.

**Cancellation.** Cancel any time from your account. It takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then.

**Transaction fees.** Separately from any subscription, we charge a fee of **0.1% per transaction** executed through the PoolMaster Contract. **This fee is waived for Premium subscribers.** The fee is taken on-chain as part of the transaction and is shown in the interface before you sign. It is in addition to network gas fees, which are paid to network validators and not to us.

Because the fee is charged on-chain, it is **non-refundable once a transaction is confirmed**, including where you are dissatisfied with the outcome of the transaction.

We may change or introduce transaction fees. Changes apply only to transactions made after the change takes effect and will be reflected in the interface. Your decision to sign a transaction after a fee is displayed is your acceptance of it.

**Price changes.** We may change prices. For active subscriptions we will give at least 30 days' notice before an increase takes effect, and you may cancel beforehand.

**Taxes.** Prices exclude applicable taxes, which are your responsibility.

**Failed payments.** We may retry a failed payment and suspend Premium access until the balance is settled.

Subscription fees are entirely separate from your on-chain activity. **Nothing you pay us is an investment, a deposit, or a claim on any assets.**

## 10. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

- use the Service for anything unlawful, or to facilitate money laundering, sanctions evasion, market manipulation, or fraud;
- scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract data, or use bots or automated tools to access the Service, without our prior written permission;
- resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit our data, analytics, or APR calculations without permission;
- circumvent paywalls, rate limits, access controls, or other technical restrictions;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive our source code or backtesting methodology, except where the law expressly permits it;
- interfere with, overload, or attack the Service or its infrastructure, or introduce malicious code;
- attempt to obtain another user's private keys, credentials, or security information, or access anyone else's wallet or account;
- impersonate PoolMaster or anyone else, or misrepresent your affiliation with us.

We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use harms the Service or others. **We cannot and will never suspend your access to your own wallet or your on-chain positions** — you can always use them elsewhere.

## 11. Intellectual property

The Service and its content — software, the aggregation and pair-grouping system, our backtesting and simulation methodology, text, design, graphics, and the PoolMaster name and logo — are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property law.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own personal or internal business purposes under these Terms. No other rights are granted. You may not frame our content, use our marks in metatags, or create derivative works from it.

The Service may include open-source components licensed under their own terms, which prevail over these Terms for those components.

**Feedback.** Any ideas or suggestions you send us are given without any obligation of confidentiality on our part, and you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use them freely.

## 12. Changes to the Service

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service — including specific chains, DEX integrations, features, or data sources — at any time, without notice. Maintenance may reduce availability. We do not warrant any particular level of uptime and we are not liable for any such change or interruption.

## 13. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITH ALL FAULTS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT: THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS; IT WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE; OR THAT ANY DATA, APR, SIMULATION, OR TRANSACTION OUTCOME WILL BE ACCURATE, RELIABLE, OR AS DISPLAYED.

## 15. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by disconnecting your wallet and closing your account. Your on-chain positions are unaffected and remain accessible directly or through any other interface. We may suspend or terminate your access as described in Section 10. If terminated for breach, you agree not to circumvent it using another wallet or account. Sections that by their nature should survive — including 2, 3, 4, 7, 11, 13, 14, 15, and 17 — will survive.
